I didn’t really get along well with the crowd here. I had an churchgoer imply that I’m not really a Christian due to the fact that I’m Catholic, which I found to be ironic as I know several baptized Catholics who go to services here. To me, the sermons sounded more like self help speeches than sermons. I probably won’t come back. I'm grateful for Curry Creek, which my family and I have been attending for 5 years. I have seen the pastoral staff, led by John Free, remain focused on the Gospel. The expository teaching is wonderful. This has been our church home for over 5 years now and the biblical truth that is taught is amazing! If you are looking to go deeper into your faith walk than this is the place to be. If you are looking to start your walk or just have, then you are also in the right place!! It has been along time since I heard a pastor preach and is a exegesis. Very excited to hear more. Most preach feel good inspirational sermons that is not Christ lead. Thank you for going the distance and not caving in to what society wants to hear. I've attended the services over the last year during Covid. I was looking for a church that had in house services. They've been really nice and friendly and I've enjoyed the sermons from Pastor John. This guy can preach! There are times when the whole congregation is totally mute. Very poignant messages that get through to the heart of the believer. If you're new to Boerne and looking for a church home that won't just make you feel good about being a Christian, but will convict you to appreciate what Jesus did on the cross, then this church is worth looking into.
