What visitors say

We were visiting from our-of-town and found this congregation very welcoming and hospitable. My family enjoyed worshiping here. The Reverend Wright presented a message both honoring to God and graspable to us in the pews. One can tell he really has a heart for Jesus and this body of believers. When we are in Corpus Christi again, we will definitely return to First Christian Church. First Christian Church is such a welcoming and peaceful place. The people are kind, the messages are uplifting, and you can truly feel a sense of community here. Whether you’re new to faith or just looking for a place to belong, this church makes you feel at home. I was ready to step into a smaller church to get to a sense of worship that made me feel the holiness of God in reverent submission to him. The megachurches don’t help me experience that because they’re too overwhelming. I find that here. I went with my friend Belen to her church service there and it was wonderful service, I also brought my service dog Rocky with me with no problems. Happy Preacher Rusty is Very Good! My wife and I enjoy his sermons.
