Best Church around come check it out we have Bible Study for women and men. Leadership events and an amazing kids program. Great church and great people out there. I attended a couple of Sundays and a Wednesday night and I was hoping to go back more because our first day was a surprise. The way they welcomed new people and engaging was amazing. There was a lunch, get together and just getting to know each other moment. The only downside was that my son refused going back. I suspect he didn’t have a positive experience at the kids ministry but regardless it’s a church that actually makes you feel a good place to worship. Not a lot of churches have that level of commitment to welcoming and networking with fellow members. I went for the Christmas Eve service and it was great! They were all friendly and smiling and saying hi as we walked in the door and then they pointed me to the “VIP table” where they gave me and my friend a gift bag and got to know us a little bit. Then they directed us to some other people who showed us our seat. It made me feel better that they showed us where to sit so we didn’t have to wonder around looking for a spot. And I never felt lost because there was always someone there to help! The worship is very lively which I like a lot!! Then this week one of the ladies called me to see how I felt about the experience and invited me to a women’s group she leads. They did well! This campus does not see or value mid-life singles. As a woman in my 40s, I am not able to join their Bible study groups. They offer two groups, 1 for singles up to 35 years old and 1 for married people. I asked them about this. They said I was welcome to join a small group that was just women. It wasn’t the same as a Bible study group, and why am I not given the opportunity to study the Bible with both men and women to get different perspectives? Simply because I’m single and in my 40s? It seems yes, because if you are single and under 35 it's okay to be in a co-ed study group. The information desk told me maybe they weren’t a good fit for me if that’s what I was looking for because in their experience, coed Singles Group create “trouble” (but I guess only after a certain age since they did have an under 35 co-ed group! SMH) Ultimately, I did not feel welcome, seen or remotely cared about. We went here for adventure and my son loved it. The message was easy to follow for him in bible study. The only thing I personally did not like a long with many other parents. It was recorded from Grapevine location live so the Big Show was on TV not in person. They church is big enough to be able to perform live, in my opinion.
