We are visiting from out of town but we’re invited to attend by our soon to be daughter-in-law. Brother Leo from Katy, TX brought a solid word presented flawlessly. We were welcomed and felt at home. The Worship Team brought some great music. So glad to see the camp prayer bracelets like the ones we brought with us from our home church in Fredericksburg. We will come visit the next time we are here. If you are local and looking for a Galveston church this one should be on your list to visit! My family and I recently had the pleasure of attending Coastal Community Church in Galveston, Texas, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and open arms. The atmosphere was inviting, and the energy was contagious. The service itself was incredibly inspiring. The pastor delivered a powerful and thought-provoking message that spoke directly to my heart. It was evident that he truly cares about his congregation and wants to help them grow in their faith to follow Jesus. The worship team was also fantastic. They led the congregation in heartfelt worship music, and I could feel the presence of God in the room. I highly recommend Coastal Community Church to anyone in the Galveston area looking for a welcoming and uplifting place to worship. This church is welcoming and full of families. God is in the people and the worship and the message. Prayer Tesm is amazing!!! Such a fabulous Church with some Great people if God... This is a must visit... Check out their Facebook for service times and events. I had high hopes for "the church of the unchurched." I expected a friendly, evangelical environment. I expected an encounter with the Spirit of God. What I found instead were unwelcoming, cliquish people and the spirit of religion. I didn't even stay for the service, as I didn't feel welcome there and churches operating under the spirit of religion are a dime a dozen. I made eye contact with a dozen people and smiled at them. NOT ONE smiled back. No hello. No "welcome to our church." They were in groups and if you are not part of their community, you're really not going to feel welcome. I'd rather go to a church where the love of Jesus shines.
