Amazing church with great God-centered worship and preaching! The pastors are very nice and welcoming as well as spiritually sound. They also have a great youth ministry and friendly volunteers so everyone can feel welcome no matter their age. I went to this church during a trip to Houston and absolutely loved it! We felt very welcome and at home. Definitely recommend! Today was my 3rd visit to City Life Church. I am new in pursuing a relationship with God. I was raised in the church but never practiced. I belong to a very traditional Lutheran Church and I have an extremely hard time getting into the messages unless something really resonates with me. My first visit to City Life was life changing. First off, the atmosphere is so welcoming and there is so much diversity, it just feels like home. The pastor was not preaching that day but the gentleman who gave the message spoke about Leah and I truly resonated with that. After the service I went to the front and weeped to one of the women and she prayed over me. My life has never been the same since I left that day. I still struggle with my relationship with God but I actually understand the Bible now. God is working through me because of City Life church. I highly recommend this church. I get excited after every service for the next week. Honestly, the messages are so good now — I can’t wait to see how the actual pastor is. I plan to become a member in due time. Thank you, City Life. I had the opportunity to visit this church 2 weeks ago when I traveled to Houston and I can honestly say they were extremely condescending and disrespectful. They made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. I opened up to one of the pastors about a personal life challenge I was facing and he intentionally had other leaders of the church belittle me because of it. I will never visit again and I do not recommend anyone else visit this church either. I loveeeeee this place. This is definitely a spirit lead and scripture based church! I believe this is a place you can grow in Christ & experience the goodness of God and His community! I’ve been attending this church for a while now, and it truly feels like home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the messages are always meaningful and grounded in scripture, and the sense of community is something special. The worship is powerful, the leadership is authentic, and there’s a genuine heart for serving others. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with God for years, this church is a place where you can grow, connect, and feel encouraged. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to belong!
