This is an amazing church. My husband and I visited several churches in the area before deciding to become members at Springs. One of the biggest reasons we chose this church is its commitment to teaching the Bible in a meaningful and practical way. Right now, we're studying the book of Genesis. Each week, we work through the next section, learning its context, interpretation, and how it applies to our lives today. Since attending Springs, I have gained a much deeper understanding of God's Word. The church is also intentional about building genuine community. My husband and I joined a community group that meets every other week, and it has been such a meaningful addition to our lives. We've built great relationships, grown in our faith, and truly feel connected here. Amazing church that speaks the word of God and only the word of God. It’s also a very friendly location and very welcoming (especially since I serve there (jk)). John is very energetic and fun My husband and I were in New Braunfels for a few months and attended this church. We loved it here! Pastor John delivers scripture in a clear and engaging way, making it relevant to everyday life. The church itself offers a variety of groups for all ages, there seems to be a strong sense of connection. Their commitment to their congregation was beautifully evident when they rallied around a family facing a difficult situation. Overall, Community Springs Church is a great option. You will feel welcome here. We love Springs Community Church! If you are looking for solid biblical teaching, an awesome kids/students ministry, and a caring community then this is the best place. Since attending Springs community, I have been encouraged and poured into by so many. I grew in my faith & was able to deal with some past hurts & poor habits by attending Re:Generations (a 12 step recovery program for past hurts, habits, and hangups). I also love that their kids ministry is so safe for kids while also teaching them biblical truth. The leaders in kids ministry go through rigorous training to make sure that the kids are kept safe from harm while in the care of the Springs. If you're looking to be encouraged in your faith, cared for by an awesome community, and to develop some new friends then this is the place for you! My family and I have have been attending and members of The Springs for almost 4 years. We were immediately drawn to the church because of the passion and commitment of the volunteers. It was clear that everyone was 'on mission' in this body, passionate about loving God and sharing Jesus with the community, and also committed to raising their family to love and serve God. We jumped at the opportunity to be discipled by and do life with these families. This isn't a church where you passively attend, you can, but God wants so much more for you. This is a church where God will use the people around you to encourage and challenge you. He will use the body of Christ at The Springs to change your heart and your life to be more like His, if you only let Him.
