We love The Fellowship! Donnie is a wonderful pastor! His sermons are informative and engaging with humor mixed in. I love how thorough he is in his biblical teaching. I enjoy how he uses maps, and really goes into detail about the history of the regions and people that he is discussing. Maybe it’s just because I’m a history nerd, but it’s one of the things that really sets this church apart from others. I also really like that he goes book by book and chapter by chapter. Being part of this church has really been a wonderful learning experience. They also have a great children’s and student ministry. My daughter is on the spectrum. So finding someplace that could meet her needs was very important to us. No matter where you are in life there is someplace for you at this church. I love 💕 this church ⛪️… Donnie is engaging, intelligent in the books of the Bible, and truly fun and interesting to listen to…. I will be moving away in a year and pray that I will be able to find a church like this one… I understand that people call to try to get assistance and it’s understandable that some churches aren’t able to help but what’s not understandable is a Preacher, man, being so judgmental and so negative and so rude to someone that’s in a hard situation that was only asking help for gas. I have never experienced such a rude manner trying to get someone help. Pastor Donny is the best preacher I’ve seen in the greater Austin area. He sticks to the Word. Teaches the Bible book by book, but includes many cross references to other parts of the Bible to give cultural and geographical context so you’re actually learning. And it all points to Jesus. I wish I found this church sooner. I first came to a Saturday night service and then a Sunday morning service. Both are great experiences. It has taken me a long time to find a church home where my kids and I have truly felt welcomed and wanted. Pastor Jessie is the best and he has brought me closer to wanting to know more about Jesus. My kids love their Sunday School classy and cant wait to go back each week.
