What visitors say
I visited today with my family. On the screen it said that to be a member of the church you must “submit to the teachings of the church and the pastor “ (or something very similar). A true bible believing church would say something like “submit to the teachings of the New Testament “. Christianity should always teach New Testament doctrine. …. Do not go to church to submit to the teachings of men, read your bible and align your life to the teachings of the bible and submit only to the teachings of the bible. Also I personally found it annoying the preacher seemed not to look at the people in the congregation, he would look over the crowd to his left then over the congregation to his right and so on, at first I thought maybe he was nervous and thus not making eye contact with the people that were THERE, then finally I turned around to see what he was looking at, And then I seen the cameras toward the rear of the sanctuary. Ohhh its for the cameras and not for the people that were actually at church… for the above they get one star. Now the good: The facility was nice, the people were friendly and it seemed very welcoming, also there was plenty of parking which isnt necessary to get a good review but, it was something nice. If you want to know about christianity and you already have read about Jesus then read Romans- Jude in the King James Version until you understand it. Then go to church, otherwise you WILL be misled ! Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; i’ve seen this Church through many changes as my family has lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years. I’ve walked my dogs for years in this neighborhood. Recently i was approached while on my walk around what i would have deemed ,prior to the experience, a safe space. Told i am to not be around the area with my leashed & extremely docile dog. It appeared aggressive & not the love thy neighbor energy i’m used to in this community. Will be avoiding such hostile energy moving forward. We love our Christ is king family! Pastor Matt and Mark Bell bring the word with truth kindness and love ! Our elders , deacons , ushers greeters all the staff are amazing and we greatly appreciate them ! The praise and worship team are amazing a very spirit filled church . Attended my dear friend's memorial service. She had set it all up the way she wanted it & we all felt welcome & comfortable there. The church staff, ministers & women's prison ministry were all outstanding. May the Blessings Be 🙏💙 I'm at the Villa Serena(VA Inpatient Program) nearby. Last night was my first time attending CR and I loved it ! There's no condemnation and NOBODY looks down on us. Demons haunted me and constantly harassed me persuading me to relive my past. Jesus is THE LIGHT. Light is the absence of darkness. THE LIGHT has dawned in my life, darkness MUST flee ! Demons cower and flee from HIS LIGHT allowing my mind to think clearly without drugs clouding my mind, soul and spirit. A new day has risen with HIS SON(THE LIGHT) leading me in THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT. EVERYONE IS BASKING IN HIS LIGHT AND THE EVIDENCE IS CLEAR FOR ALL TO SEE ! See for yourself, I dare you. That's all I have to say about CR. Rock on Jesus, rock on ! You ARE my ROCK and now I roll(in Your direction). Rock-N-Roll, you followers/believers of The Light, Rock-N-Roll ! :-) PS to Laura A: if you are looking for the PERFECT church, you won't find it on this planet and there is no church in Heaven. All praise/worship is for the King Of The Universe, not for us to feel better about what we see and feel. Humanism is the worship of ourselves(the created) worship The Creator in Jesus. No pats on the back for ourselves. ALL glory and honor belongs to Jesus ALONE. Jesus is THE LAMB that laid down His life for the world because NONE of us deserve Heaven, it's a gift from our Creator. IF we decide to to trust Jesus as our Savior we have been saved from the Lake of Fire prepared for the fallen angels and ALL those that want nothing to do with Jesus. Even religious people trust in THEIR RELIGION(Satan's tool) to trust themselves/religion to EARN Heaven. NOT possible ! Believers in Jesus are GIFTED with what we DON'T deserve(Heaven) and are SAVED FROM what we do deserve(Lake of Fire). We ALL fall short of God's REQUIREMENTS to get to Heaven. Jesus lived the PERFECT life that we are NOT able to live on earth. The SIN(plural) of the world were cast on Him at the Cross. On the Cross Jesus said, "It is finished". He did it ALL. The PERFECT sacrifice without sin in place for our sinful lives. He did it for us ! Trust in Jesus ONLY, He's THE ONLY WAY out from the Lake of Fire that awaits those that trust in anything else BUT Jesus. The decision is totally up to each and every one of us living on this planet to make. Trust Jesus !
