What visitors say

CrossBridge is the family friendly worship center one expects it to be. Access to the site from Overlook Pkwy is made safe with directed traffic and a line of pylons. Once in the parking area, a clump of pylons on the way to First Time Visitor parking made the approach confusing. A parking lot staffer improved things a bit but not much. The restroom was also not the easiest to find even with signage and appears to sit next to the children's area. A pavillion at the front walkway contained name stickers and writing instruments making it easy for first timers and old timers to get to know each other. Greeters are lined along this walkway rather than crowded at the door. The auditorium or sanctuary features a bank of floor to ceiling windows on one outer wall added bright and natural light, a nice change from the usual windowless sanctuaries. The song service was average. The worship team consisted of the leader and one other with a guitar, a keyboardist, one female singer, a drummer and a bass guitarist. The keyboardist and bass guitarist were fitted with stand mics, although it was not clear why since they were never used. The leader provided a good selection of songs with plenty of heartfelt adoration of Heavenly Father and the Christ. The teacher did a very capable job. His preaching style was a mix of Narrative and Topical. His delivery was lively and energetic. He interspersed humor, inspiration and anecdotes into the teaching, and was effective at keeping the congregation's attention and eliciting a response from them. He showed emotion and vulnerability as well. DOG IN THE SANCTUARY Um...what? The accelerating trend of dogs in public spaces just slid to a new low. Well, it can be said to their credit that CrossBridge did not deprive an unwittingly divisive family from experiencing God by banning them and their dog. Meet and greet occurred at the end of the service. Throughout the entire service, tithing and offering were not mentioned which was a blessing. The prayer team came up during the song service with the song service continuing uninterrupted. Four and a half stars for CrossBridge Community Church. As mentioned, CrossBridge fits in well in a neighborhood of families with children. If you want to visit a church that puts missions, prayers, and the importance of attending a lifegroup over their church services? This IS the place! Very good church to get plugged in. Love the service and the message We attended here several years ago for a few months. Friendly people for sure. So-So teaching and preaching in me and my wife's opinion. Went here for Easter service last week and seemed just the same. I had hoped to hear a very evangelical message but it was more of a God can make your life better message. Unsaved people need to hear clearly the radical truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They don't need self improvement or just to sin less. They need to be raised from spiritual death into the life of Christ. My wife and I are Hunt residents who had the pleasure of meeting and working beside volunteers from Crossbridge after the flood of 7/4/25. They worked harder and longer than any group we saw and did anything asked of them without . Most of all they loved on us and prayed for us and that's what we needed then. Crossbridge sends out true disciples of Christ.
