What visitors say
My favorite church in San Antonio, so organized, everybody is so friendly, great sermons, the lead pastor is so unique, the anointment is huge, in a down earth way , simple , powerful full of grace.. the way it should be....every time I get the chance to be in town, this is the place that I'm looking for. The holy Spirit has always something for me in here.... God bless I’ve been attending NorthRock Church for a year now and I love it so much! Everyone is so friendly and I love the NR community. I’m from Buda so I drive about a little over an hour to get there, but it is worth the drive every weekend! All of the speakers (lead pastors, other campus pastors, guest speakers, etc) are outstanding. They do amazing services every time, and they do a great job blending the scripture with the message. I’m also thankful for the note pages they hand out before service starts because it helps me follow along with the sermon, and it gives me something tangible to share the sermon with others. And the worship is phenomenal! I could go on and on about NRW because the worship team is amazing. I’m super happy that they started releasing original music because the songs are moving, they are written from scripture, and I listen to them all of the time (they have stayed in my top three artists on Apple Music each month of 2026 so far). More importantly, even though I’ve been a Christian my whole life, NorthRock has deepened my faith and helped me grow in my relationship with Jesus. I truly believe that He was speaking through Pastor Jonathan’s messages, and I’ve felt His presence so much that I was moved to get baptized during baptism weekend this April. Now I’m serving on the production team (I just did my first weekend) and I love it! Overall, I’m so grateful for everything He has done for me through NorthRock Church, and I’m blessed to call NorthRock Church home. I couldn’t tell you how grateful I am for this church, and my now church family. It almost brings me to tears. For years I was so far from God, but started to attend every Sunday and NorthRock really helped me find my way into relationship with him again. I’d never truly surrendered and lifted my hands in worship ever before until I finally felt the presence of the Holy Spirit here at NorthRock. Everything completely changed for me. Wonderful pastors, wonderful church, and absolutely wonderful community. Please feel welcomed here because you are! ❤️ I learned about your church through Britton Moore from the voice and since then i follow you on line every Sunday. I love very much how oastor Jonathan does the sermons and especially can't wait to listen to worship team singing beautifully worship songs especially Britt, he's very talented and faithful i love him so much and is always a blessing and a pleasure to hear him sing. Love your church. I visited this church for the first time and it was pretty nice. I enjoyed the worship and sermon and I thought the atmosphere was good. My only thing was that when leaving i saw they had a person dressed up like Spiderman taking pictures with the kids. Which i mean i understand maybe its fun for the kids but i just personally dont believe that is something that should be brought into church. I believe all those worldly things should be left at the door when your stepping into the house of God and we shouldn't treat Gods house like an amusement park. I understand that non denominational churchs try to make going to church fun but theres a different between making church fun and disobeying Jesus words when he said to not make his fathers house a den of robbers. Its a bit contradictory because the pastors message was about the fear of God and how we shouldn't be to casual when it comes to our relationship with God and not forgetting that He is holy therefore His home is holy and im sorry but Spiderman doesn't belong in a holy place. Leave all that stuff at the door. The greatest superhero is Jesus anyways.
