Our group meeting took place at Sunset Ridge Church of Christ, where the parishioners greeted us warmly and made sure we felt at home. During our visit, we had the chance to explore the park they built on the site of their former parking lot—a wonderful transformation. Since it was Saturday, the picturesque setting was bustling with a lively farmers market, adding to the charm of the experience. I love this church! Everyone is so welcoming and kind! The sermons are always insightful. Should you ever have the chance to visit the original chapel, you will not be disappointed. This gorgeously. crafted building from the 1920's, with it's stone arches, oak beams, and stunning stained glass windows is a rare jewel in the United States. It truly looks like a fairytale chapel straight from the middle ages. It's also one of the few places in the US where you can see an actual Tiffany, stained glass window. Absolutely worth the visit. And please be NICE to the lovely ladies from the church. They are very sweet and gracious. Since the Chapel is not freely open to the public, they take time out of their day to open the chapel to visitors. So very disappointing not the church of Christ as mentioned in the new testament that Jesus established. A decent size congregation that should have men that can lead singing. The bible clearly states that women are to be silent in the worship service I Cor. 14:34. Where are prayer teams mentioned in the bible? Do not be conformed to the world. We are different. Pray for the leaders of this congregation. Do not let your soul be lead astray. Congregation is small enough for visitors be be noticed and welcomed. Leadership is humble and willing to admit faults to congregation when they screw up. Singing is a capella, which may catch you off guard if you didn't grow up with it. If you did grow up with it you might be caught off guard by the intentional inclusion of women in the worship service. All are on equal footing regardless of gender or tenure. Real people who believe in a real God and remind one another they are each loved. The old chapel nearest the street is rarely used. Primary entrances are to the newer building from the parking lot on the north end of the property.
