Attended the Between Jobs Ministry at the church, Wednesday mornings, great place to meet great people to find a job job. Wonderful encouragement and supportive people, many classes to learn how to adapt to the new ways of finding jobs. If you are looking for work, start here 8am Wednesday mornings. I went to a program they offer for people who are job seeking called Between Jobs Ministries. It is awesome! If you are looking for a job you need to go to this. It is every Wednesday from 9 am to 1 or 2 pm. Your first visit will start at 8 am. Their between jobs ministry is top notch, wonderful ministry. Dr Roy Farmer, his associates, counselors, program, process all excellent! They've been doing this some 20 years, helping folks inspiring to understand transferrable skills, inspiring how valuable people are to God, helping you hone your skills, teaching you things, improving world. Businesses like them and coordinate needs/ openings. My wife and my children came for the first time today and the staff was phenomenal! Very warm greetings, great smiles, and extraordinarily welcoming. Met with the pastor, even though I didn’t know he was the pastor, during the meet and greet time. The worship time was great and I recognized some of the music which helped. They are going through the book of Revelation, Word by word, which is the kind of teaching I much appreciate and love! Got to speak to the pastor after service for a few minutes and he appears to be very knowledgeable and has a true care for people. If you're looking for a church community instead of just listening to a sermon once a week, this is the church for you. They do potlucks, men's events, women's events, events for people in their 30's and 40's, date nights (church provides low-cost childcare), a homeschool group, Awanas, and even a ministry to help people find jobs (that you don't have to be a Christian to use). Plus, there are groups that meet Sunday morning, so even if a sermon isn't your thing, you can still come and grow. The head pastor is also very approachable.
