I LOVE THIS CHURCH fellowship! I've never heard such powerful & effective PREACHING of God's Word. Nor experienced such awesome WORSHIP leading in a service. And that's saying a lot since I've been actively involved in many churches all over the country, listening to the best preachers online, & in God's Word my whole life. I learn so much every time! Many times, I'm left speechless afterward. The pastors Brandon & Doug evidently put so much prayer, passion, & time into studying & preparing. I was told they even meet together with the other campus pastors to discuss the sermons & make sure their theology is well-grounded in scripture & thorough. I believe they really LIVE IT OUT every day. It's also the best worship experience I've had led by the worshippers. The worship pastor Jon picks great songs, & many that I've never heard, that are very scriptural & deep & and hand-picked to go with the sermon. And he has a real deep heart of love & worship for the Lord, it's obvious. And the way he lets others lead different songs... It all just comes together SO powerfully. I ALSO looked into the leadership & ACCOUNTABILITY structure of this fellowship & I think it's right on 🎯 That has become very important to me after experiencing other churches where there was elitism & power trips in leadership, cover-up culture going on, & abuse was tolerated & even protected when clearly discovered. Effective accountability is a MUST built into any church fellowship structure. There are also many options for getting involved in small groups & Bible study, fellowship, activities, youth & children groups & events. I'm meeting with good women on Fridays twice a month for a quality Bible study. I think this place has it all. I'm 4 months in & enjoying every minute of it!! "Thank you for being faithful to God's commission & loving Him & others well, Grace Community Church!" What great lessons can be learned through the scriptures. Brandon is awesome at delivering God's word with passion, humility, and grace. Every time he speaks he describes how we should question what is read in the story, what is the message, and where do you see yourself or Jesus in the passages. God bless your people that honor you word, and have faith in the things not seen, but are written for us to learn. I attended church services for the first time last week and I loved it! Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. I plan on getting more involved in the church as I get settled here in Tyler. This is our place of worship and we absolutely love our church. They have kept safety at the absolute forefront with recent events and adapted to include streaming services, which they have had, but also allowing corporate worship. Doug, our pastor, is amazing and the worship team is phenomenal. Could not be happier worshipping here. As a visitor, I was just so impressed with the service! It happened to be a special event that the children were leading the music, and done beautifully. The rest of the time was to witness 4 young people who had decided to be baptized. Each baptism was accompanied by a video of the child as he explained his decision to be baptized. I was moved when I saw that each child's father baptized their child. The youth pastor officiated and I could see that he was a dedicated teacher, totally committed to the youth. What a wonderful place for a family to thrive in their Christian walk.
