⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ First Baptist Church – Provo, Utah I visited the First Baptist Church here in Provo, and honestly, I felt like I had been dropped right back into North Carolina. The whole atmosphere had that warm, familiar Southern hospitality vibe that I grew up with. The people were welcoming, the pastor was genuine, and the spirit of the place just felt real. What really got me was what happened after the service. They had culinary experts — actual cooks — downstairs making sure I had something to eat. They didn’t ask for anything, didn’t hint at anything, didn’t try to make it awkward. They just fed me. That’s straight-up Jesus right there. Feed the hungry, care for people, no strings attached. That’s the kind of church I’m used to, and it meant a lot. Provo is obviously dominated by the LDS Church, and I’ve even attended a few LDS services before. The people are friendly, no doubt. But the pressure around money, tithing, and financial expectations never sat right with me — especially knowing how much wealth the institution already has. It just didn’t make sense to me personally. Walking into First Baptist was a totally different experience. No pressure, no financial speeches, no guilt — just community, sincerity, and people who were happy to have me there. It felt like home, even though I’m far from home. If you’re in Provo and want a place that’s genuine, humble, and welcoming, this church is worth a visit. I walked in as a stranger and walked out feeling like family. I had a wonderful experience at First Baptist Church of Provo! The congregation and pastor were so welcoming and genuinely friendly. The sermon was great, and I really enjoyed it. I’ll definitely be coming back! Looking for a biblical based church who loves God and loves people well. Look no further! We moved here a little over a year ago and not only were we welcomed into this church family but we do life with this church. We have grown close with many people at this church and do extra curricular activities with them. It’s not just a gathering place once a week it’s a life changing experience. We gather on Sundays at ten but after our gathering we share a meal. We gather on Thursdays for evening programs also for all ages. Come and join us! My family and I have been members/attenders for over 3 years. We love the pastors and fellow brothers and sisters like our own family. The word given each Sunday keeps you wanting more, thirst for Gods word is quenched each week and i couldn’t ever see us leaving this church family. Love you all!! God bless Thankful for the brothers and sisters in the LORD there. In our digital world, it's "word of online"! A student from Japan found FBC Provo online, started attending and soon confessed God's grace, trusting in Jesus alone as Savior and Lord! It was a blessing to witness his baptism and hear his testimony. Finally realizing being a sinner, he was powerless to earn his own righteousness. Also thankful for the past opportunities my wife and I had with this sister church sharing about our International Mission Board work during our years in Japan.
