My recent visit to Salt Lake City, Utah, for the Wits Travel Summit was not just a professional trip; it was also a deeply spiritual journey for me. As a woman on a mission to get closer to God, attending church services was a must. I specifically searched for a church where I could find a community that looked like me, and that's how I discovered Calvary Baptist Church. Walking into Calvary Baptist Church, I felt an immediate sense of belonging. The praise and worship team's performance was exceptional, and the pastor's sermon felt like it was speaking directly to me. My biggest concern was feeling welcomed, and the warm reception I received from the congregation melted away my anxiety. If you're visiting the area and looking for a church home where you can worship and feel accepted, I can't recommend Calvary Baptist Church enough. My experience there was not only spiritually fulfilling but also a testament to the welcoming community it offers. Praise God! Most AMAZING HOLY GODLY CHRIST FEELING & LOVE, COMFORTABILITY ON EARTH. GREAT 4 everybody ALL ages,shapes,race & size. Attended SUPER Bowl watch there. So many people, good food 🍲, drinks,deserts,very good SAFETY had a door 🚪 left open during watch party to air out so knowone catches covid. Very good, sweet,loving, caring, welcoming environment!!! I am trying to find a church home and am new to SLC. I grew up in Tennessee and I’m Baptist and I wanted a church that felt like home. I visited Calvary with an open heart. The music was amazing, the sermon was amazing. When I got in my car, I called my mother bawling. Not one person said hello or even smiled at me. Not one smile. I smiled and was met with hard faces. The sermon was about having friends that bring you closer to God and that was my mission. I left feeling sad, alone, isolated, and unaccepted. If you want politics while at Church this church is for you! Especially if your views are on the left. Not for me! Im here for the word not your political views If you're in the state of Utah and looking for a church to worship let refer you to my newly found church family Pastor Moses and Calvary Baptist Church ⛪ 🙏🏾! Great place to receive great teaching and encouraging word. My 1st experience has phenomenal and looking forward to visiting again. God bless Calvary Baptist 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
