I have been going to The Vine for almost four year now. I started coming because it was less than a mile for my apartment but after the first service I knew this would be my church home as long as I was in Madison. The preaching is sound, biblical, relevant, easy to understand. The pastors are transparent, approachable, and kind. The people are friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. But beyond all of that this is a church with a vision and mission that resonate with my heart. You will hear it every week: gospel, community, mission. This is a community of people that truly want to live out the gospel and be on mission for Jesus in their city. Been attending for a year now and been members (wife and I) for a few months and I’m very thankful for the blessing of getting to be a part of this local body. Sound theology, great people who genuinely serve their local community throughout Dane County, and people who are fixed on God’s word and making sure it is preached and acted out locally and globally. I love being part of the Vine. A Gospel centered, Bible preaching church. The Vine doesn't add anything to the Word of God and operates according to the calling from the Gospels and the mission that Jesus appointed the Church to. The pillars of the church are Gospel, Community and Mission. Everything driven from the Word of the Gospels, living it out in community in small groups and fellowship outside of Sunday mornings and also following the call of making disciples of all nations, including neighbors and nations in Madison. Very easy to relate to the pastoral staff and very impactfull teaching each Sunday Stopped in while traveling and thought it was great. Welcoming congregation and based on one week, good teaching! The vine has a very welcoming atmosphere. The Bible is preached in a way that is clear and applicable to everday life. Childcare is available during service and there is a seperate family section where you can participate in service and little ones can run around and make noise as necessary.
