What visitors say
I'm from Michigan and have visited St. Edmund's Anglican Church. I loved the service each time. It felt very familiar and comfortable to me as someone who became Anglican 35 years ago. The worship is reverent and beautiful, the teaching powerful and sound, the Sacrament rightly administered. And the downtown neighborhood is beautiful and very walkable! I plan to visit St. Edmund's every time I come to Milwaukee! Our family attended a beautiful service on Easter Sunday. St. Edmund’s fosters a wonderful sense of community. They have a welcoming and kind congregation. For anyone looking for a traditional Anglican service, St. Edmund’s would be a lovely choice. We were members of St. Edmund's for about a year during a time of transition, and Fr. Eric baptized one of our children. The congregation was just what we needed for a high-church, yet not overstimulating, experience. St. Edmund’s Anglican Church is a warm and welcoming community. The sermons are inspiring, and the traditional hymnal music adds a beautiful and meaningful touch to each service. My husband and I moved to Milwaukee last June and heard about St. Edmund’s through a mutual friend. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and genuinely wanted to get to know us after the service. We have loved getting to know the congregation and we couldn’t ask for a better place to call our church home.
