I am a recent transplant from Colorado to Cheyenne 9-2017. I had three churches on my radar before arriving in town, and visited each one. The first lacked the Word! The 2nd lacked the Spirit! AND the 3rd was all about the Concert.... So I asked the Lord for a fourth option. I am happy to say that Destiny Church includes a good balance of ALL THE ABOVE: great worship, active presence of the Holy Spirit and a Pastor who preaches the WORD! I would also like to say that I have met more people in 4 weeks here, then I did in 4 months at church #1, and 2 months at church #2. From my perspective, this body of believers understands what it means to Love thy neighbor and goes out of their way to make visitors and newcomers feel welcome. I can say the same about the Pastor as well; Pastor Rick went out of his way to meet me, introduce me to like believers and is consistently checking in on me to make sure that I am plugged in and getting my spiritual needs met within his flock. If the Lord is prompting you to get involved in a church that resembles that written about in the Book of Acts, give Destiny Church a try. Shalom! Going to a church where the holy spirit is allowed it move is wonderful. Service was not regimented. The bible is preached. Pastor Rick has a way of sharing what God has put on his heart in an understandable way. Worship time was not hurried. One of the best parts was.. calling people to the altar for prayer. Nice friendly atmospere. Genuine people of God with integrity who want to here your side of the story, on just about any subject, such as relationships, God, fishing and many others. Plus, they put on a pretty good Worship service ( music and singing) and the pastor has a good Word from God. It's worth checking out. Friendly pastor and church members. We were just driving through, but enjoyed the energy they put into worship (which was pretty good I might add), and the thought put into a good sounding sermon series. I would definitely visit again if I were in town. Love LOve LOVE! This church! Amazing pastor who loves god with all his mind heart and soul!!! Spirit filled church! Many miracles happen here! Testimonies after testimonies of what God is doing in people's lives!! The pastor and his wife take the time to meet everyone and stay connected with people!! Doers of the WORD and not hearers only. Powerful teaching and worship is beautiful!!! Can not say anything bad about this church!
