Wonderful family, full of love and grace. Lots of imperfect people, sinners, saved by God's grace and mercy worshipping here, come join us! :) Wonderful, uplifting spiritual messages. Singing that stirred my soul. I was warmly welcomed and felt comfortable during the 3 worship services I attended. Will definitely return whenever visiting family in the area. My friend & I went to your clothing giveaway on the 4th....by the time we got inside nothing was left....we saw people leave with 3 or more sacks full of clothing. All I got was an empty trash bag that doesn't even fit my trash can....I was very very disappointed. It wasn't well organized....should of set a limit of how many bags per family....nice church though...loved the big cross...really nice church....i was impressed on that part...... I've always loved this place. When I 1st attended (7 years ago) I met some kind people, and got involved. I moved away for a bit and haven't had the chance to attend church service, but I do attend their celebrate recovery on Thursdays sometimes. We’ve been pretty much lifelong members of the CoC, so when we moved to town that’s pretty much what we were looking for. At the same time, we are relatively “young and hip” and didn’t want to land somewhere that seemed dull and dying, so we did “shop around” some. Long-story-short, we were hesitant to visit this place because it looks from the outside to be rather stuffy, but when we finally did give it a try, we were very pleasantly surprised. The teaching and preaching are, in fact, very “modern” and gracious while adhering to the sort of standards that CoC folks will recognize and appreciate. Also, the elders here are amazingly good and sincere. Really good people. Plus, they have several ministries like Celebrate Recovery and Divorce Care that, to me, show they are really trying to be open-minded and big-hearted and offer resources to those in need.
