This church has been with me thru all the ups and downs in life. They show me unconditional love and acceptance no matter where I'm at. I am truly grateful! The message always has something I can take with me to grow in my relationship with God! A big plus is my 1yr old LOVES the nursery and care team! She looks forward to going to church with me weekly!! This is a Great Church and strong worship community. I love it because it's not a giant mega church where you're one of 5,000 people. The Church offers a welcoming, friendly atmosphere with a focus on kids programs as well as Adults. Pastor Tawni Garcia is Fantastic and her sermons are engaging and powerful with a focus on authentic preaching. The Church is open and affirming and accepts everyone. Music is also a focus. Two Sundays a month they have traditional hymns and the remaining two Sundays have a great Praise Band. They also offer live viewing of the Sunday services if you can't attend in person. They have communion every Sunday. A very wise pastor once told me: "The closer to God you are, the better your life will be, the farther away from God you are, just the opposite.". Come get closer to God here. Services start at 10am. I am blessed the Lord directed me to this Church. Very Happy here!!! Went there for a free dinner ~. it turned to be really tasteful ! A Chicken Pot Pie (insides) creamy filling over Homemade Buttermilk Biscuits (like biscuits and gravy). Also, they serve coffee and some assorted pastries and such before dinner to tide everyone over. The folks putting it on are always happy you came and friendly! 😎👍👍👍👍 Loved it. They have a great community outreach program called La Mesa Ministries and offer a class on Financial Management and Budgeting. Part of their outreach includes providing an evening meal twice a week at two different locations. Volunteers prepare a homemade dinner, water, protein bars and other snacks, bus passes, if you get there early enough, and most importantly.. they provide SPIRITUAL FOOD and HOPE! All are served with compassion and empathy. 💗 I've met so awesome folks. 🙂🫠❤️🙏🤝🫶 So glad I found this faith community. I have avoided organized religion for many, many years, however FCC Mesa has welcomed me home. It is small, welcoming and follows Jesus' teachings...all are welcome and we are loved by God just as we are, just as God created we. Pastor Tawni is knowledgeable, inspiring and truly gets to know and love her congregants. I look forward to learning and growing along side FCC Mesa and my fellow members
