Weird experience today. I was a little late today and had to wait until prayer was over to enter the chapel. As I waited - I noticed a sign that read kids under 5 weren't welcome in the chapel. Then, during service, Pastor asked, someone to leave cuz they had toddler and sent them to a room in the south lobby. It actually looked like someone ecorted them there. Very odd. I felt pretty uncomfortable. When I was leaving the Pastor was apologizing and talking about how he gets distracted, takes teaching seriously and there is signs posted. It's just a strange experience. How do young families go to church? Not sure I would leave my children in a room with people I didn't know anymore... Been attending for 6 months now and absolutely love the people, messages and community outreach activities. Pastor Jim preaches to save as many non believers as possible and makes us confident to do the same by encouraging us on how to read our Bibles and live our lives by the Word of God! Highly recommend Reading the reviews it appears the pastor has an issue with young children.. sure glad Jesus didn’t.. Matthew 19:14. Study up pastor. You’re probably well intentioned but it is not real wise. Try and think of a better way to handle this uh distraction.. Great Bible teaching church with a very good Pastor. Love this church. The people are so nice and inviting. I have found a new home. First time there was last Sunday. Very friendly people. What I love about Calvary Chapel's is they teach the whole Bible, Book by Book, Chapter by Chapter and verse by verse. You end up learning the entire Bible, not bits and pieces based on a subject the Pastor decides on. My granddaughter went to the High School youth group and they were very nice to her. She's excited to go back next Sunday.
