I'm going to do the Buts first. The worship music is great but loud. I know God hears us. The big down side is some of the men disrespect the Lord by wearing there hats in HIS House. The message is always Great. Yes it's a video feed. I'm not here to see the pastor but hear the word of God. So for those that don't like it get over it. It's the word and praising God your there for. P.S. bring the popcorn God love's it. So I honestly can't rate this church personally because I have only been there 1 time because God used them to answer me but here is my most honest question and I may be outdated here but is there a single Baptist church preferably southern baptist church in the east valley that does not distract their flock with standing and singing but instead reads from the word of God and explain. I feel like these days I can be closer to God by sitting in a empty field in pitch black surrounded by coyotes vs over bearing non stop singing and no true preaching if im wrong here im sorry but im looking for a true traditional baptist church Yeah, the disconnection is huge here. They say I read that it’s key for them to have a consistent message. That’s a lame excuse for what they are doing. It’s so they can save money from having to pay multiple pastors. At first it didn’t feel like a mega church, but then when the projector pastor came on. Man. Talk about a let down. Again- just so they have “consistent message” but really so they can make more money and have less payrolls. It’s that kind of church. Central has been home for me for the past 20 years. I first started attending the Mesa campus in my teens, and later moved to Queen Creek when my husband and I began our family. The messages and the Word are what keep us rooted here. Central’s main theme has always been to LOVE BEYOND — a value that’s deeply woven into our own home as well. Yes, sometimes the message is on a screen, but it could just as easily be on the radio — it’s still God’s message, and that’s what we come for. If you’re looking for a place to start your journey with Christ, I encourage you to take the leap and come to church 🧡. And if Central isn’t your cup of tea, that’s okay — find your cup of tea, but don’t stop searching. Please give a shout out to the volunteer who stands outside every Sunday morning at 9:20am, waving at people driving past. Every time I drive past and see him, I am tempted to pull in just because he seems so genuinely friendly. A great reflection of your church, as someone who has never been. I literally pulled over just to write this, and am now looking at your website and programs!
