I love this church. Matt and Steve are solid pastors, the Holy Spirit is definitely present. No politics, no shaming, no Fox News regurgitation, no Christian nationalism, no confusing charasmtic displays, and no begging...just solid Bible preaching/ teaching..the baptismal is always open and welcome to those willing to give their life to Christ. Matt and Steve are very down to earth and approachable. You feel at home when you get there. If you’re looking for a church that teaches directly from the Word of God, this is it. I’ve been attending since 2022, and it has truly changed my life. It’s evident that the Spirit is present, and the atmosphere reflects a genuine pursuit of God. The leadership at Hope City is clearly submitted to God’s will. Their love for Jesus shows in everything they do, and their desire to honor Him is unmistakable. I’m incredibly grateful for Hope City and the way it welcomes people from ALL walks of life. Mark 2:16-17 - 16 " When the scribes who were Pharisees saw that he was eating with sinners and tax collectors, they asked his disciples, “Why does he eat with tax collectors and sinners?” 17 When Jesus heard this, he told them, “It is not those who are well who need a doctor, but those who are sick. I didn’t come to call the righteous, but sinners.” We are all sinners saved by grace through faith, and through that commitment to give our lives to Jesus, we are called to repent and turn away from the world. Hope City does an amazing job equipping us to be disciples and to share the Good News with others. Mark 16:15 "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Great church. Loving people, and we're always greeted with a smile and a hug! 👍🙏🙏 We are so thankful we found Hope City! After moving to Surprise last year, we spent some time visiting different churches—about five in total. We thought we had made our decision, but felt led to try one more, and that’s when we discovered Hope City. From the moment we walked in, it felt like the church wrapped us in a giant hug. The pastor himself was the first to welcome us, the kids’ center is full of caring, loving people, the worship band sings straight from the heart, and the message is powerful—encouraging you to grow deeper in your relationship with God. Hope City is a Bible-based church, so come ready to open your Bible and dive in. Very proud to call Hope City our new church home.🙏🏼 This was a very uplifting church service with a band. Inspirational! 🫶🙏🤝
