I took a one-year Bible program at CBI & it was the best decision! I have grown so much in my faith & love for God! We not only took Bible classes but got to go on two trips including one week on the East Coast & a week & a half in Greece & Rome. I grew in my faith & made so many good relationships this year. I strongly recommend this program to anyone who is looking for a year to get biblical grounded no matter what they are planning to do for college! I took the year-long gap year program through CBI and would recommend doing the same to anyone in the post high school stage of life. It not only helps you become grounded in the Christian faith but provides a plethora of opportunities for service in the local church and personal sanctification as well! Along with that, the trips were incredibly helpful in my own personal life, both to Greece and the East coast. Understanding the foundations of Christianity in the US and then also seeing the Bible come to life by visiting Nee Testament sites was something I can use every day for the remainder of my life! Taking courses at Compass Bible Institute was one of the best decisions I have made. CBI is church-based, and you can really feel that. All the classes are focused on preparing you to help you grow and serve effectively in the local church. I took some of the Pastoral Ministry training courses, and I was given opportunities to preach, serve, and lead under the mentorship of godly pastors. The classes are all biblically grounded and faithful, and on top of that, they all transferred to the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where I am currently a student. CBI grew my love for God, his word, and his people. If you want to be trained in a setting that holds the Bible high, prioritizes the local church, and keeps Christ at the center, I highly recommend Compass Bible Institute. I was part of a one-year program at CBI and I cannot recommend it enough. CBI provides a highly devoted group of professors and pastors to teach at a professional level for a fraction of the cost. Each class had something unique to love about it and no work or studying feels useless, a big turn-around from my school experience prior. If you have any interest whatsoever in learning more about the Bible, CBI should be at the top of your list! Taking class courses at CBI was so informative for how I am rightly to understand the bible and live it out! It also was a great experience from the teachers who were interactive and experienced in the varying fields they taught! Plan to take a few more classes there this summer!
