Former graduate here. This school has amazing education, semi okay teachers. Math is easy if you pay attention, Science is a breeze, etc etc. History class doesn’t teach much in black history and has three pages of black history in the books. Physical education is the best class in my opinion. Always doing something, make sure you dress out. Bible class is great, I’ve personally gotten closer to God that way. English, isn’t all that fun or pleasing. Unless you make a personal friendship with Ms. Escorsia, she’s either going to be rude to you, contradict what she says or she’s chill and she’s your her “favorite” student. (Which will change. In the next week or so) Watch out for Ms. Amerson, you’re on her radar and she’s watching your step. Dont get into fights or arguments, the teacher will dramatize it even if it’s playful. Ms. Scott isn’t any better. A lot of people are very mean. A great church for young families. We have been attending regularly for three years, now. Our kids love the nursery and children's staff and I am always confident that they are well taken care of, while we participate in the worship service. The congregation is warm and friendly with free coffee and donuts at every service. There are lots of small groups to get plugged into and an awesome youth service that meets on Wednesdays. I am proud of the work our church does in the community and the services we hold on Sunday mornings. We really do love it, here. The Sunday service was such a wonderful experience. My three year old loved the live music. This school offers great education for its students. The downside is that it is not inclusive of all students and situations. I can only speak for my experience and pray that we were the outlier. My family was in the middle of a big transition, which the staff was well aware of. My child became inconsolable at school, and later informed me that he did not feel safe going to teachers because they would brush off his concerns when he reached out. The school admin spoke of my son as an "issue" to be dealt with and ultimately had no faith nor support for us. They never tried for my child and turned their backs on a child and their family. I will not recommend this school to anyone in my network. However, if your child fits into the school's ideal, then it should be a perfect fit for your family. Make sure to do your research as well. There are many great choices in the area 😉 Cornerstone is on fire for the lord and the people are awesome! They make you feel at home when you walk in. I been going here for a year and found my self getting involved and being more apart of this great church. I love that the praise team is all different ages from 16 and up and to see hands lifted high and the spirit moving you cant help but be humble to the sprite and let go. Its a great place for a family with teens the youth group is outstanding and the youth pastor has got a calling from god. Thank you lord for bringing me to this place! It
