I am so thankful for the kindness and generosity of the church. The church culture, people, and services are great. This is a place where I was able to find God and get closer to Him. The pastors and people are great. I've been blessed to start friendships here. Join a FREEDOM Small Group, you will be a different person. This church was, at one point, a meaningful and transformative experience for me. Ultimately, the church chose to part ways with me; while I acknowledge their right to do so, the decision felt unilateral, and in reflection, what once seemed like minor concerns became much more significant. I experienced inconsistencies in communication—being told one thing by security or leadership, only for a different outcome to follow, along with delayed or unfulfilled follow-ups. There was also a noticeable guardedness around who could be approached and how conversations were handled, which made the environment feel less open than expected. At times, certain interpersonal boundaries, particularly across genders, felt more restrictive than empowering. I also observed the presence of strong political or geopolitical perspectives within the messaging that may not resonate with everyone. While the services are highly produced and engaging, they can at times feel more performative than reflective. There is also a strong emphasis on involvement—groups, serving, participation—which, while presented as optional, can carry a degree of social pressure. I also had interactions that felt, at times, intimidating. Overall, the environment felt welcoming on the surface, but carried an underlying tension that made me cautious about stepping outside of expectations. My experience included both meaningful moments and notable concerns. I share this so others can approach with awareness, trust their instincts, and maintain their own boundaries. I live in Alabama and have followed what God is doing through this church and its pastors for years. Was finally close enough to the area to visit today! I loved hearing vision and values clearly stated just as I expected! If you are in the Bay Area and looking for a church, you’ve found it! Best church in the bay awesome engaging pastors .The sweetest and welcoming people.You really feel at home I love 🤍my church.I highly recommend you come to visit. The stupid speed bumps broke my bike now me and my family don’t have a fast way to move around my city anymore. They pack the Walmart parking Sunday’s. Playing loud music and make it impossible to get through the parking lot safely. It disgusts me me every time I see the building that they promote violence and negativity on the community.
