I am so glad to have visited The Well SGV today. For the record, I have no history or personal affiliation with this church. I walked through the doors this morning as a completely random first time visitor who only found this church through Yelp... But what I found surprised me. I found a new church plant that started merely 3 months ago. I found smiling faces and heart for Jesus and new visitors like me. Very little effort was needed on my part as I was immediately greeted by Peggie at the Greeters Table. Introductions and laughter were shared. Then directly after service, Peggie led Pastor David right to my wife and I so we could meet and shake hands with him... I had great conversations with Pastor David and Pastor Rick. And another shout out to Wilson and Annie for your warm welcome. While this is a new church plant and might lack a few of the bells and whistles of more established churches. They preach the gospel in a real and approachable way here. The Well SGV has all the heart without all the pretense. They care, without caring who you are, or where you come from. And I appreciate that. This church aims to be multi-ethnic and multi-generational and I hope that will come to fruition. But as it stands right now, most of the congregation seem to be of Asian descent. I really only point that out so anyone visiting can get a glimpse of what to expect on your visit. Wrapping up, I understand that this is less of a review and more of a recounting of my first time visit. But I hope this recounting takes away any anxiousness you might feel walking into a new church for the first time. And I hope this helps you on your journey to find a body of believers you can call home. I absolutely plan to visit again. And you should too... Started going here since August 2023 and it’s crazy how time flies! Everyone here is so welcoming and I feel like I’ve found my family. There’s free lunches every Sunday which has been great to get to meet individuals. There’s also plenty of parking! The preaching is very theologically sound and pastor David is extremely kind and humble. I love going to Well because everyone is so warm and loving. I felt the brotherly love. The atmosphere is very joyful. Pastor David ‘s sermon is so rewarding and powerful and he is very humble and gentle and always preaching the truth of god’s word. It is a very blessing place to learn and get to know Jesus! This is a new church plant in the SGV area. It's a multi-ethnic, multi-generational, gospel-centered church. We meet on Sundays at 10 AM at the Arcadia Community Center. Come join us for worship. All are welcome! Every member at The Well SGV is so nice and welcoming! Even though the community just started, it really feels like a family. We welcome all to checking us out :)
