First Congregational Church of Auburn is a warm and welcoming church. Pastor Dan embodies the love of Christ; Love for all, in all walks of life. Pastor Dan's sermons will touch your heart with his delightful mix of humor and empathy. Pastor Dan has a true understanding of the human condition and what it means to love one another. Love is all. As a new family in the area, finding 1CC was a genuine gift from God. Here we found a community who lives the message of Jesus by welcoming the stranger, loving one another, and bringing justice, healing, and love to a broken world. Reverend Dan's messages are always poignant, relevant and related to whatever issues our world is facing. By pointing us to the truth of God's unending love for not only us, but all people on Earth, we are reminded of the Divine Love that Jesus came to teach of and are filled with hope that there is goodness in this world. We also greatly enjoy meeting other young families through this community and benefit greatly from the supportive children's program. GREAT: friendly people, dynamic Pastor, terrific message, wonderful music, SO welcoming. All-congregation breakfast once a month is awesome - A+++ cooks! This church is very welcoming to all. No matter your race, gender or the color of your skin or hair. And our pastor Dan Spacek, feeds us on Sunday in ways we understand and ways that relate to us in these current days. The best church I have ever been to. The entire congregation is so welcoming to all. They are like family and the pastor will move you with his message every time.
