That’s how I perceive it because everything comes together when we put out trust in His divine timing. There is something amazing when we grow in Christ together. I was invited one day to the Covenant church in Burbank and pastor Brooks messages are so strong. He gets right into the the message and the spirit comes alive. It's a beautiful church and the best part that I like about is on evening worship, after the preaching, we are able to ask pastor Brooks questions to try to stump him, I love that part plus they have the Communion once a month. They music is great and the environment is just wonderful. The building looks like a castle when you drive up and inside the big garage door there's tables. It's just a beautiful church and you should really try it. But pastor Brooks and his wife Amanda are just two of the sweetest and nicest people you want to meet as well as the whole church congregation, they're all wonderful and the preacher you never get bored of him. When I came to the church, I was living in my Van, and they accepted me just as I am the whole congregation did. They saw me through 4 surgeries and one of them was cancer. They prayed the whole time for me. This is the kind of church you want to go to. Because they are Powerful, their prayers and the care about everybody. I don't live in CA, but if I did, I would definitely go to Covenant Church Burbank! Pastor Brooks and his wife are some of the most genuinely caring people that I know. I am always encouraged whenever I get to talk to them. Plus, Brooks prepares a worship service and a message about Jesus that will reach both your mind and heart... both thought-provoking and joyful at the same time. This is the place to visit if you are seeking the peace of Christ. In my experience I have been to many churches. So far, Covenant seals the deal where most churches swear by: perks, bells and acclaim. Covenant has ardent faith, steadfast love of community and fellow believers, a great commitment to sound theology all packed in a studio! Covenant is lead by God through a wonderful Pastor Pipher and many founding members. Three years prior, it grew from a house church into a church of strong faith and devotion. This church welcomes all those seeking Christ, seeking answers and seeking a fresh start to a new life. At Covenant, all I see are God’s wonderful people filled with love, joy, compassion and patience and a firm reverence to Christ and His teachings! To those looking for a new church or just passing by, Covenant Church will not disappoint. This is a wonderful church. There is a noticeable culture of hospitality. The worship is joyful, reverent and biblical, with the preached Word at the center of it all. I’m so thankful for a Presbyterian church in Burbank. If you are in the area, you should definitely visit. Pastor Brooks and his wife Amanda are such encouraging and prayerful people.
