They have all kinds of community functions here. I grew up around the corner and have always felt very fond of this friendly neighborhood church ☺️ I haven't made my way to attend this church as of this writing, but I did attend seminary with the pastor, and I can testify that this Pastor Davis is an extraordinary woman of God. Her love for all people, as her Creator has commanded, is beyond explanation. She personifies the hymn lyric, "Lord prepare ME to be a sanctuary..." If I were a brand new disciple, or a seasoned saint looking for a new church home, this wonderful, faithful powerful preaching woman's Little White Chapel, would be my first and last stop. Pastor Julie is a dear friend from school. Our teacher, and LWC’s prior leader, Pastor Bill, saw her talent and heart and mentored her. She is one of the smartest people I know and she always leads with compassion and love. I trust her with my own care, as someone in recovery and LGBT. I have been to the church a few times, and it’s a charming, intimate, caring community. I admire the efforts of LWC to help neighbors in need through the pantry, to support diversity and inclusion through participating in Pride, and to offer growth through readings of the Bible and other literature. If you are looking for a welcoming, progressive worship experience Little White Chapel is the place you want to be! Pastor Julie Davis leads our congregation with spiritual wisdom and kindness creating an inclusive environment where truly all are welcome. I am proud to call this church my home. I have had the pleasure of knowing pastor Julie for over 15 years. I am so thankful for having met her and I am both encouraged and inspired by her dedication to Christ’s true mission. To often Christs love gets co-opted for financial or political gain yet Julie and her church stand steadfast to Love everyone where they are at. Looking for love and acceptance? Looking for peace and understanding? You have found it. God bless you Julie - I LoVE YOU!
