I joined this church about 8 years ago before it moved to its new location in Burbank and I have been blessed beyond belief ever since! The members of New Hope Church are some of the sweetest, friendliest people you will ever meet. Every Sunday, the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I've invited family and friends over the years to attend the Sunday celebration service and by the end of it, they always tell me how much they enjoyed the experience and the people. Pastor Roge's teachings are always so relatable and he really strives to make the Word of God accessible for everyone, whatever stage you are in your Christianity! Pastor Diane is phenomenal as well, and her teachings just take your relationship with God to the next level. All I can say is if you're on the fence about coming to the Sunday service, just try it out once so you can experience it for yourself! New Hope Church recently started to hold two services on Sunday: 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. There is child care available for both services, and there is coffee and donuts served before and after service. My wife and I first found New Hope Church in 2009. Back then they were located in Van Nuys. We immediately fell in love with the sense of community, and the friendly, relational sermons. Unfortunately we had a change of life circumstances and fell out of contact with the church for many years. After the pandemic we realized we needed spiritual fellowship, and found out that the church has moved to their new location in Burbank. We showed up and it was like we never left. What a friendly, supportive, and biblically grounded group of people! Pastor Rogé consistently delivers the word of God with clarity and a refreshing sense of humor. We're now active members and feel the blessings every day. Our relationship with God is growing stronger. Give it a try; you won't be disappointed. I have been attending NHC for over 10 years as a 16 year old. It has changed mine and my family's life. We have been restored and are continuing to be blessed in every way through the powerful teaching of grace, the love and support of this church family, and the wonderful counseling that is readily available to all members. I met my lifelong friends who pour into my life in every season and trial, and am now attending with my husband and infant son. Every week there is a powerful and anointed Word from Pastor Roge that is so easily applicable to my week, and I have seen a change in my life and relationships with others and the Lord as I did. There are also wonderful programs and classes available to help with every spiritual need, including a recovery program that has transformed my life! If you have children, there is a wonderful Children's church that I also grew up in with amazing teachers that teach the gospel and love on your kids. (I cannot wait for my son to experience this as well!) Don't even get me started on the worship!! Always a powerful and anointed time. I also love that they have a series of classes (Next Steps) that helped me discover my God-given gifting which connected me to serving in the Media department. I love being able to serve and using my gifts which leave me so fulfilled and on purpose every single time! I love this church and cannot recommend it enough!! If you are looking for a community to grow with and love on you, If you are looking for somewhere to be a part of, If you are looking to grow in your relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, Then this is the church for you! Great church! Was only visiting town so only can base off one service but if you’re looking for a more modern non-denominational church, I highly recommend! People there were very friendly and gave out donuts and coffee before service. They had an AWESOME worship team. The pastor was funny and the sermon was objectively good. But if you go be prepared to be greeted by a lot of people. New Hope has been such a blessing in my life. This was my first church experience , and everyone was warm, friendly and encouraging. The teaching is uplifting and relatable, and it’s helped me overcome the anxiety and stress in my life. If you’re looking for hope and community, this is the place.
