A beautiful church and the priest is wonderful! 5 ⭐'s. In my quest to attend mass in all the San Diego County Catholic Churches, I attended St. Pius X Sunday's Spanish mass. We were welcomed and ask to participate from the minute we walked in with the offerings. They also have Knights of Colombus serving here. Plenty of parking and a large hall for celebrations. Wheelchair ♿ access. So far, in my quest, THE BEST. Thanks Father Ernesto Torres. I attended my niece 's baptism with my brother. There was a guy with short black hair and a mustache. I believe he was a usher. He was very rude to my brother. All of us being Catholics attending a baptism. He should of carried himself as a Catholic in the Lord's house. Really great experience. We are new in the community and we feel welcomed since the first day. The posada was awesome For 15 years, this church was my home. It is where my children grew up in the faith, and it is where we held my son's funeral. I never imagined I would one day be told to leave a place that held so many of my family's most sacred memories. My experience with the priest was deeply painful. I felt judged instead of welcomed, intimidated instead of encouraged, and ultimately excluded instead of shepherded. I believe a priest should reflect Christ through humility, compassion, patience, and mercy. Sadly, that was not my experience. I often witnessed interactions that, in my opinion, lacked kindness and pastoral care. Rather than making people feel loved and accepted, I felt many were left feeling uncomfortable or afraid. That is heartbreaking in a place that should be a refuge for those seeking God. A church should be a place where people encounter grace, healing, and hope—not fear. No priest is above the Gospel he preaches, and actions should reflect the message proclaimed from the altar. I pray for healing for everyone who has been hurt, including myself. I also pray that this parish will one day become a place where every person is treated with the dignity, compassion, and love that Christ calls us to show one another.
