I used to come here every Sunday with my kids when I needed the most in god in my life and even I donate money that I didn’t have, but I did it with my heart I was going to the hardest thing in life as a single mother I was homeless with my two daughters when they were little and I asked they them if they can help me stay one of their shelters because I had a friend that they say they will help people who needs shelter temporary and I told them about my situation that I was not a US citizen, but my kids are born here. It’s still sad until this day still hurts and I will never forget this part I was honest with them. I told her I was not a US citizen, they told me since I was a not a US citizen they wouldn’t not help me have a roof over my head with my two daughters This has been my home church for over 15 years. Although the congregation consists of many members of the parachurch program ECTLC, there are a lot of members who are friendly faces who have been there for a long time. Service starts at 10 am every Sunday morning with communion on the first Sunday of every month and baptisms on the last Sunday of every month. With an hour of worship and an hour long preaching service, this church is full of Bible believing worshippers of the Lord and I am proud to call it home. They have children's church split up between the 5 and under class which starts at 10am and the 5 and up class which starts at 11 (after worship) There is a midweek church service every Wednesday at 6pm as well Im so disappointed, sad that I went for the food distribution and was denied food just because they felt like I shouldn’t get any. A church shouldn’t deny anyone for no reason doesn’t matter on their race, color , or ethnicity I’m so disgusted by these men. All the ones that were there they were all men and I felt criticized. I truly don’t recommend this place specially if you don’t want to be disrespected don’t go here smh what a bad experience. This place is a Godsend. If you are in need of help with food then I would suggest for you to call this place. They do usually have certain days & times that they have and distribute food but if they can help, they will. These are good people and they love to help those they can. Hugs, love and prayers to the people at Christian Fellowship of El Cajon. Friendly , warm, and inviting. Offering a wide range of assistance from discipleship training to family restoration ASL classes bible studies
