Pastor Rolland and the church family at Meridian Baptist Church are wonderful. It’s a great church that truly feels like a family—welcoming, caring, and full of genuine faith. Grateful to be part of such a loving community. This church has the biggest heart. They have the first Amikas home. At 8x12’ with a 4x12 patio, it’s totally just what a small family could use to get back on their feet. There needs to be more of these all over San Diego. My kids and I struggled for YEARS in El Cajon and are still struggling nearby. We got no help, we got no shelter. Nice that this church selects certain people to be assisted but the others they leave stranded, struggling and to drown don't deserve it. Sad they only care about a few families here and there and leave other to be separated, harmed, or dying. We’ll laid out and supplied small transition homes for the homeless. More churches and nonprofit organizations should look to this model to help the unhorsed in San Diego County. Great small church. Pastor Rolland is so approachable and gives a great message straight from the bible. All the people are so friendly and the music is always good.
