What visitors say
I've been a part of large parishes but my family decided to be "roaming Catholics" one year and we visited this church because we knew the pastor. Who knew that a tiny mountain-top church with 14 pews would charm us into staying. This parish is a wonderful little community and the people are so welcoming. Fr. Scott is genuine and truly cares for the parish. The church also hosts several parish and community events throughout the year. Intimate church, friendly parishioners, fabulous Pastor in Fr Scott. I love the feeling of kinship among the congregation members. I felt welcomed from the start! Most importantly, when you leave you feel as though you've been blessed in a special way. Love it! We love this small country church and its parishioners. We have coffee and doughnuts after the Sunday Masses. There are special events throughout the year. Everybody turns out for the semi-annual parish clean up days. Our priest is a gifted pastor who is loved by all because of his concern for others exceeds his self-concern. Only half of the parishioners come from Crest; the other half are from all over South and East County. Very personable pastor Scott, and happy parishioners. I have enjoyed participating here during my long stay in San Diego. Easier to feel community spirit in small parish. God Bless all of you. 😇 Absolutely love the gentleness, kindness, and understanding of Father Scott. This is a wonderful little quiet, peaceful place filled with God’s presence. Highly recommend coming for reconciliation Saturday’s at 4pm. Thank you for your healing words, Father Scott.
