I came to this church today hoping to find a little support, but I left disappointed. I believe that when God tests a church, He sends people in need to see how much compassion and love there really is. I hope that God has seen what happened today and will give you more wisdom and strength to help those in need. A church should be a place of love, compassion, and support for those in need. Unfortunately, my experience today was very different and I left deeply disappointed. I love this church! I come to worship Jesus Christ and learn about him, and I see the fruits of that in the people that attend this church! They show love, kindness, friendship, and knowledge of Jesus Christ. I also love that there are free youth and children’s classes on Sundays as well as many activities throughout the year. Very nice church. There are lots of young families and other children to welcome mine in Sunday school. Good people. I was raised in El Dorado Hills, and I grew up going to church here and I loved it. There are so many good people there who are so kind. Nobody is perfect, and everyone there is trying to become a better person, but that's the reason I go to church in the first place - to learn how I can apply God's teachings in my life and with my family. There is no paid ministry there, and everyone volunteers to fulfill Sunday responsibilities. Church meetings are very well organized, and classes are both instructive and inspiring. Teachers are well prepared and encourage both questions and participation. But most importantly, I feel peace as I seek forgiveness from God during the sacrament meeting (the meeting where we take the bread and water in remembrance of Christ's sacrifice for us). I know this church is true and has strengthened my family tremendously. But don't just take my word for it - come and see for yourself! This church has made such a positive difference in my life. The people are always kind and welcoming. The spiritual messages about Jesus Christ are uplifting, inspiring and comforting. If you’re looking for a church that will help you feel the Holy Spirit and leave you feeling happier than when you came, this is it.
