Been eyeing this church on the outside for a long time. Finally decided to go and I'm upset I didn't go much sooner! It's Pentecostal, with absolutely beautiful people. Received a good Word and there was an excellent choir! A beautiful welcoming nursery, children's church and just all around welcoming. I love God's people! If you are looking for a church in the Sacramento/ Elk Grove area you absolutely have to go here! You WILL feel a move of God! They have programs and ministries for all ages and their kids program is fantastic. You owe yourself the favor of making this your home church. If say you tired everything in life and gotten nowhere.... YOU HAVEN'T TRIED JESUS!!!!!! come to the Rock church at elk Grove for a warm welcoming and great people! There is also an awesome coffee shop inside!!!??? My wife and I came to visit this church for Sunday night service. It was are first time. Everyone was praying at the front of the church.we got invited to go down and pray. All the sudden a man in a blue pin stripped suit and bald told me to move as he walked past me he grabbed my wife's arm and put his hand on her head and started yelling in what they call tongues. My wife said she was catching spit from his yelling. I went and put my hand on her arm for support and he told me not to touch her. She's my wife!!! I was so uncomfortable. I will never return. Men should pray for men and women pray for the women not single out my wife and tell me to leave basically. I will never return. Very uncomfortable experience. The Rock always have an inspirational service. I have my church home but I do visit them from time to time and events. They are near my house. The People are always warm and welcoming. I love talking w their Pastor he's a great Southern guy very down to earth ❤️
