The church itself pressured its members for loyalty above family and told me that while it was great that I was attending the church on Sunday mornings, and the church's school (Attached to the same building basically) mon-Friday with evening services on Wed. and Door knocking on Saturday - that it was unacceptable that my family wanted to have their 15 year old son home for Sunday dinners and that if I couldn't attend that i would need to consider other schooling options because "we cant bend the rules for some and not others" Not only that but they pushed an unaccredited schooling option on the congregation and used fear tactics regarding public schooling to fan the flames of fear for anyone considering an alternative. Too bad the classes didnt count for anything in real life, thank God (ha) that i found out in time and actually graduated with a diploma. I have no clue who's running this show now but In my opinion Pastor Miller was an awful pastor. Imagine being so impacted but the BS that went on here that you feel compelled to leave an honest 1 star review like 21 years later. No trauma induced here at all folks ; ) Have a great day Been my home church for 33 years now Absolute best gospel music in San Diego county!! Reverend Miller and the piano player are more talented than most musicians you will find ANYWHERE! It takes praise and worship to a whole new level! A barbecue every Sunday after church makes sure that no one goes home hungry. A great "come as you are" church. No judgements here! Great Church, If you want to belong to a family that cares this is your last stop. The Pastor (Dr. Clint Miller) pulls no punches and everything is from the word. If you like guitar and Johnny cash style music then this place you will love. This is a friendly church . the music is very uplifting. and the theoligy is based on the king james bible .there are 3 services a week and I would reccomend this church for all ages.
