Always make sure You pray for Gods guidance and direction and if you do that be sure he will answer! I prayed to God and asked him to show me if this church is the right church for me and my son to go to tonight he answered me. I Spoke with Pastor Dwayne Edwards on Wednesday evening inquiring about his church services I found out there was some sort of support Group they had available Tuesday evenings at the church I explained to the pastor that I was very interested in coming to check it out. I also let this pastor know that me and my son who would be coming with me have been very hurt and traumatized by people in churches we’ve gone to he welcomed us to come to the Support Group that they had Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Tonight when I went to go to this church which is about 20 minutes from my house… I got there and I saw that the pastor had a special marked parking space for himself where his car was parked in a parking area that was mostly empty. I parked my car got out tried every door in the church building which was locked I found it to be strange but the pastors car was parked in his special spot so I know he had to be there… I called the church number no answer… I searched through my phone looking for this pastor’s number. After finding his number in my phone from Wednesday night I called and he answered the phone I told him hello I talked to you Wednesday night and I’m here for the Support Group. As he answers the phone he’s coming out a back door of the church talking to me on the phone at the same time. He jokingly laughs shakes my hand and tells me that the Support Group was postponed! What!!! As I am walking back to my car he tells me I can come back next Tuesday! This kind of behavior is very inconsiderate and rude and not what you would hope to expect from a pastor especially after telling him that me and my son have been extremely hurt and traumatized by church people and the whole point of coming to the Support Group is to try to get some kind of healing!!! But I can’t be mad because I asked the Lord to show me if this is the church, he wants us at and I got my answer tonight! Needless to say I will not be coming back here Tuesday night or any other night and definitely would not be recommending this church to anybody by the way, I forgot to mention I drove to this church on very little gas money I am a single mother of a child with special needs. This was not only an inconvenience and a disappointment but I could’ve used that Gas money to go somewhere else that would’ve benefited us. Great Pastor who preaches the truth and lovely members. Thank you for having us. Great place very friendly staff we stopped by they had a Saturday drive-thru prayer we went through prayers answered God bless you and thank you all you prayed for us that my children would come to the Lord and my mom was missing and my mom was found thank you for all your prayers once again God bless you all and your families We LOVE YOU!!!. Thankyou Lord For CLC Amazing Pastor Dwayne Evans always a blessed word 🙏🏽 Loving church family 💚
