This is a church that I haven't gone inside of, but I went up their nicely maintained Open Door Trail to the Azusa Peak today. rom that trail you can go up to Glendora Ridge Road and Glendora Peak. There is a way to the cross called, "Open Door Nature Trail,'' on the property of Church of the Open Door in Glendora. Unlike the Garcia Trail, which is closed indefinitely, this route is less forgiving and affords a direct approach to the cross on Azusa Peak. There is plenty of parking and the grounds are open to everyone. This is one of the most friendly churches I have ever been to! I think that they have good solid teaching, they have a great kids program, the campus is beautiful! And above all they just have a warm inviting group of folks and relationships there. I love this place. A welcoming, grace filled community of believers that love Jesus. They have solid bible teaching, discipleship, an amazing children's and student ministry, great Sunday school classes, a very popular VBS program with hundreds of kids, they're very own camp IDRAFOJE (ID RAther Follow JEsus, a sell out every year), a really beautiful campus on the hillside, and a lot more. You should check it out for sure. A church in the following of Jesus Christ, outdoor services currently under a very large tent. Very kind and loving community with humble followers. Also very welcoming environment. This Church of the Open Door has lots of land in the Glendora foothills with Deer that graze on the Church's land. It has a Open Door Nature Trail alongside it's Road to the Church @ the top of the hill.
