What visitors say

The best kept secret of Huntington Beach as far as Catholic Church's go. Please take time to appreciate their gorgeous altar reredos done by Granda Liturgical Arts ❤️👑🙏🏼 St. Mary's by the sea is a beautiful Roman Catholic Church to visit. There are several Masses to choose from on the weekend including the Latin High Mass at noon. They have Daily Mass with the Holy Rosary starting at 7:25 a.m. and the Divine Mercy Chaplet recited after daily mass. Fr. Chu and the local parishioners have done a great job keeping the devotions and prayer groups going including the Miraculous Medal Novena on Wednesday mornings and Adoration on Thursdays. Check online Bulletin for more details. A Holy Church to feel close to God. Receive graces and spiritual nourishment for mind, body and souls! Beautiful seaside church. Reminiscent of old sea town church. Very quaint and service great Beautiful and friendly little church. But I walked a long way from my hotel for the Latin Mass, only to find I had arrived on the first Sunday of its extinction. The priest told us to be grateful to God for the service being in English, which added insult to injury a long way from home. If the Faith hates the Faith, what is left? We visit this church some Sundays at noon to attend their Latin mass. If you have never attended a Latin mass, you must come to this one. The Father and the Altar boys are absolutely phenomenal. It is a beautiful mass. One of the best masses I've ever seen. Soooo reverend. It fills your heart of joy.
