I’ve attended many churches in a wide variety of locations. St. Wilfred’s in Huntington Beach is an amazing church with a sincerely welcoming congregation from all paths of life. If you are seeking a place, you will be accepted here. If this is your first or hundredth time attending church, you will be welcomed. The first time I visited in July/September 2025 I was a bit nervous, but there was no reason to be. I came to the 10:30 service and was met outside the sanctuary by a greeter who helped me with any questions. Coming to this church has changed my life. St. Wilfred’s has brought me closer in my faith through learning, guidance, and support of the congregation and the leadership of the church. I truly hope that you attend one of our services and experience the many wonderful qualities for yourself. A lovely church which I have only ever entered to view the OC women’s choir perform. The space is beautiful & I love their courtyard! St. Wilfrid’s is such a welcoming church! I discovered it a few years ago and it felt like coming home. The people in the parish are genuine and friendly. And, Father Nathan truly cares about his parishioners! Our family joined St. Wilfrid’s church shortly after we enrolled our kids in the preschool. Our kids did Sunday school, became acolytes, participated in the youth group, and eventually went away to college. St. Wilfrid’s was (and still is) the right church for us because the sermons are uplifting, the parishioners accept anyone who walks through the door, and I’m not forced to believe anything that doesn’t make sense to me. The 10:30 service has an amazing choir, and the 8:30 service is a little more relaxed with fun praise band. Church always puts me in a better mood, and gives me a little time to think about what’s important and what’s not. I’m really happy to leave this review, not sure what took me so long. St. Wilfrid's is a very welcoming and friendly church and is inclusive of all people. Whether you are looking for a new church home or just need a break from the ongoing stresses of daily life, I recommend you come and see. There are two services on Sunday. At 8:30 there's contemporary and traditional music with a praise band. The 10:30 service has the wonderful St. Wilfrid's choir and beautiful pipe organ. The latter service is broadcast online too. I am so glad we came here and am grateful to call St. Wilfrid's my church home.
