What visitors say

I write this as a 36 year old woman who has recently returned to Christianity (and to Long Beach, CA). I was looking for a church to call “home.” I googled a bunch and even attended another couple of services and Bible studies at other churches for a few weeks before finding the Cavalry Chapel of North Long Beach. Something about the building or the precise location didn’t speak to me at first when looking online or even as I had driven by it—but that was just my flawed judgement and preconception—I felt called to it nonetheless. I first tuned into their Sunday recordings on YouTube and what immediately caught my attention is the way that Pastor Brandon dives deeply into the Bible every week. The Bible is read continuously, verse-by-verse, and explained which is great for exploring the depth of its meaning. The messages are powerful, firmly rooted in the teachings of Christ, and delivered with grace and clarity. The one time I went to service in person I truly enjoyed the experience and felt that the congregants are kind, loving, and good-natured folks, but most importantly—I could feel the presence of God. Even if I can’t fully commit to worship in person, I find deep comfort knowing that I can reliably tune in on Sundays. I truly think this church deserves more exposure and praise. I pray that this church flourishes and that more people find them because they are truly a hidden gem in our community. If you’re thinking about checking it out—don’t—just come as you are to service on Sunday and see for yourself. God bless this church and its congregants. 🙏♥️ ✝️ Wonderful Chapel. And Second Chance and the Calvary Chapel North Long Beach are a great combination for those who needs to make a positive change in their life. Pastor John and Pastor Brandon are a blessing I love the way they teach the bible studies, they're interesting and I learn a lot. never really visited this place but I give it a five stars because it's a peaceful area environment so I respect that Great people , pastors awesome, worship service was realy nice.
