Thanks for honoring your church's history. I was baptized here by Steelberg. By the way, Bob Weiner (Maranatha Churches) came out of this church. I didnt know about T. Richey's hand. My family stayed until the end of '76. I was 10. We were here nearly a year during T. Ray Rachel's tenure. My dad was healed of a serious kidney illness when the church laid hands on him at the church. I think it was a Sunday night. There was another pentecostal pioneer associated with Steelberg. Well, two. His dad, whose broadcast CM Ward carried on after his dad's passing. Then, his stepfather was Howard Carter. (Not the archeologist 😆) Lester Sumrall has a book about his ministry and partnering with Carter. He was an AG leader in England. Google the book. It's a free download. CLC has a powerful heritage in the Holy Ghost!!! I truly love this church, although I don't attend regularly due to my busy schedule in the medical field, I try to attend church with my family as soon as I get a Sunday off. What I really appreciate about the wonderful members of the church is that even if I haven't been attending for a while, they welcome me with open arms. It doesn't matter if is a month or 6 monthso they are just glad to see me. I am praying I can get Sundays off so I can go to the early Sunday service and get together to meet them. I enjoy God's presence every time I do attend. Although I don't know the pastor personally, whebut you hear his message you can immediately tell his love and passion for God and his love for the members.He is awesome. I am praying for God to continue blessed him, guide him to care for the church and his members. I love the church and the people are so friendly Very friendly church ! Always feel very welcomed ! Godly people who are family that want to share lifes experiences with you.God is the center of it all
