Today I went here for the first time and it was a good experience. The staff were welcoming and kind. The pastor we had (even though he said he was a temporary one) was cool too. Absolutely love Cornerstone. Pastor Jerry and Pastor Dan teach straight from the Bible with conviction, context, and relatability. The worship team is awesome, I am often moved to tears. Such a warm and welcoming body of Christ. The best thing we did was get plugged in, we attend the families group, moms group, dads group, women's and men's Bible studies, and others. Members open up their homes for Bible studies and I feel so grateful to have joined one, I literally didn't know people did that. So many ongoing events and great ways to get involved. The women's minister Grace reaches out personally, she gets to know so many people and remembers their names. Our kids love going to church. When we're super busy we watch services online but being in person is really special. We started in June 2024 and are sure we have found our home church. They follow the Word 100%. Everyone is very welcoming and kind. Services are also streamed online. Pastor Jerry is very accessible and will pray over you if you ask him. He is very knowledgeable and uses his many experiences to help illustrate God's message. He has a great sense of humor too, and I always learn something new each week. This church has alot of missions abroad and outreach programs that serve long beach. They also have local activities for everyone. I love Cornerstone! Solid preaching. I attend the more relaxing 6pm Sunday night service. Not such a big crowd, plenty of parking. A place to call home for you and your and your family. Solid tradition biblical teaching that doesn't sway from the truth. The Congregation and pastors are friendly and warm and care about you and your walk with Jesus. Amazing children's program, great worship music in the morning. Cornerstone has a lot to offer.
