What visitors say

My favorite part of the day is going to weekday Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church. Even though I can’t always make it when I’m running late, it’s always a peaceful and grounding experience for me. I especially love Tuesdays because they place the Holy Sacrament out after Mass, which makes the time even more prayerful and meaningful. It’s such a comforting way to pause, reflect, and feel close to God during the week. Great homily with personal perspective! The priest gave perspective on parishioners present and how God is working in their lives. It made the Mass and Holy Eucharist more powerful. Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea to the city of David called Bethlehem because he was descended from the house and family of David He went to be registered with Mary to whom he was engaged and who was expecting a child. Now then since I have dealt kindly with you swear to me by the LORD that you in turn will deal kindly with my family Give me a sure sign of good faith that you will spare the lives of my father and mother my brothers and sisters and all who belong to them and deliver our lives from death. I've been attending this church for 10 years!. Monsignor David chose to incorporate his political views into his homily. I come to worship God, not to hear about his political opinions. As a result, I am now looking for another church that keeps religion and politics separate. Love to come to mass especially Tuesdays.
