This church is located in a nice long beach neighborhood, the souns speakers are great and the people at this church are very welcoming to new members and even visits, they are very caring, when it is time of comunión, all pass to receive either comunión or a blessing and all stay standing until last person has passed then all kneal, I was told is so that those that cannot take comunión don't feel bad being recognized as they remain sitted, so that is very thoughtful. One must arrive early to mass because the parking area gets full quick and you will have to park outside in neighborhood streets surrounding the church, but it is a nice city and neighbors know it is church traffic, they are kind. But wait, the best part is that there is Sunday confessions, Yup, you are reading correctly, there is confessions on SUNDAY after EACH mass!!!! Nothing better than having churches do what they are suppose to do to bring the Lord's people closer to him. You should visit sometime and enjoy the Blessings of the Lord with churches like this doing the Lord's work, to Serve his people in every possible way to help them save their SOUL!!! Wonderful church and great community feel. Fr. Jay is amazing and I look forward to hearing him weekly Love St Cornelius very peaceful church clean too🙏🏻💐❤️ This is without a doubt the best Catholic Church I’ve ever been to. I went to Catholic schools and have been to many Catholic Churches in many cities . This place is SO welcoming, has great classes and the best priests . The music is beautiful, there is plenty of parking and lots of space ! I haven’t been able to find a church that’s holds a candle since I moved to Northern California. I miss this place with all my heart. Although I am not catholic, my wife, her father and my 3 kids are very active catholics. This is their parish and is very nice. I bring my 88 year old father-in-law to 5pm mass during the week.
