I have two kids who attended St. Paul's over the last ten years. There are too many wonderful things for me to me to be able to list all here. They provided a caring, loving, safe, and fun learning environment. The staff and leadership are wonderful and caring. My two kids are very different from each other, both with their own separate challenges, and they each recieved the appropriate instruction and care for where they were developmentally. I can't imagine having raised our kids without St. Paul's. I am eternally grateful for the role they played in an important stage of our kid's lives. My two children have attended St. Paul’s. My daughter is now in kinder but my son continues to attend the school. My children love St. Paul’s and I do too. The staff is an extension of our family and I know my kids are safe in their care. As a credentialed teacher, I also know that the curriculum is developmentally appropriate. More than anything, the school has always been supportive of my children and their individual needs. St. Paul’s has a special place in family’s heart 🩷 My daughter absolutely thrived at St. Paul’s Daycare for three years. The staff there became like family, and seeing her happy and excited every day was priceless. From messy art projects to outdoor adventures, she had a blast while learning and making friends. Couldn't have asked for a better start for her. We started St Paul’s unexpectedly early after our son’s prior daycare closed pretty suddenly. We had heard great things from our neighbor so we decided to give them a call in hopes they had a spot for us! Luckily they did. Our son did so well here, his teachers cared for him so much and the director is amazing and very kind and reachable, etc. A mom of young kids herself too which is nice and relatable. They had a lot of fun activities and celebrations, often involving the families. Our son learned a lot and most importantly he worked on his social skills, etc. Our older son had done a CDC for preschool and I wished later that he had done something more like St Paul’s. The CDC turned out to be more academics and a lot less “fun” than I think is appropriate for that age. My youngest is now in TK at a public school after St Pauls and he’s thriving! Our experience with St. Paul’s has been nothing short of exceptional. After trying four different preschools in the Long Beach area, we finally felt at home here. The school has truly become an integral part of our family's journey since enrolling my girls in the Fall of 2021 at 2 and 3 years old. The teachers and director exemplify the epitome of love, care, and dedication. It's evident from the moment you step through the doors that these educators are not just there to teach, but to nurture and inspire. Their genuine love for the children creates a warm and inviting atmosphere where every child (and parent) feels heard, valued and supported. For our family, the school curriculum perfectly blends spiritual teaching as well as play-based and didactic education, fostering holistic development in our children. From a short chapel service every Wednesday, to imaginative storytelling sessions and impromptu student led puppet shows, a monthly “share day” where each student gets to shine and hands-on sensory and science experiments, daily activities are thoughtfully designed to ignite learning, curiosity and creativity. One of the things we appreciate most is how the staff caters to all little personalities and learning types. Whether it's a quiet introvert or a spirited extrovert, each child is encouraged to thrive in their own way. The approachability and relatability of the staff further enhance this nurturing environment, making it easy for both children and parents to feel at home. Although our older daughter has moved on, the friendships she formed at there have persisted throughout the past year and a half. It speaks volumes about the sense of community fostered. And as for our younger daughter, who was initially shy, she has blossomed into a confident classroom leader in the past 3 years. The additional services offered, such as extended care and hot lunch three days a week, have been a lifesaver for our family, especially working long shifts in healthcare. I cannot recommend this school highly enough. It's more than just a preschool; it's a place where children flourish, friendships thrive, and families feel embraced.
