I absolutely love my church, Cornerstone Community Church. The teaching is Bible-based, thoughtful, and genuinely relevant to everyday life. Our pastors are knowledgeable Bible scholars, but also down-to-earth, authentic people who humbly strive to follow Jesus. That combination makes the teaching both deep and relatable. The worship is amazing and consistently spiritually moving. It creates space to truly encounter God, not just attend a service. There are countless ways to get involved — through groups, events, or volunteering — which makes a large church feel like a close, caring community. People are known, supported, and encouraged here. Of course, I think my church is the best 😉 — but no matter where you attend, being connected with others who are also seeking to follow Jesus is so important…and where else in our society other than church do you find so many people who are doing their best to be kind, loving, giving, encouraging, etc? As a man, the men’s ministry has been especially meaningful to me. It offers the perfect balance of real and vulnerable conversations, strong spiritual mentoring, and everyday connection through things like hiking, camping, sports, and doing life together. I’m grateful to call Cornerstone my church home! When I was 20 years old I lost my faith. Due to some hurt I received from the church. I never wanted to ever go back to church again. My cousin invited my husband, myself and our daughter to Cornerstone. I have never been more nervous or afraid. It's been 20 years since I stepped in church or walked in faith. We have never looked back. It's only been a little over a year. But this place has helped us build our relationship with God. I never thought I would have my relationship with God back. I hope to someday be more plugged in to the church as far as being involved. I would highly recommend this church. They are a amazing group of people. My husband and I have been attending Cornerstone for two years in December. While it is a large church, we have found small church friendliness. There are many varieties of groups to help you find your people within the church. We appreciate that Pastor Andy’s teaching is Biblical and relevant and allows for daily application in our lives. The pastoral team incorporates the spiritual disciplines into our spiritual growth journey and over the past two years, I have noticed that u am drawing nearer to God through daily Bible reading, prayer, and giving when there was a time in my journey that I used to practice these as more of a check list where now they are more like a love expression between God and I. As a result, my peace and contentment have grown and I find my self more of God’s presence through those activities than I want other things that have made me restless in the past. I am on a spiritual journey through religion and it has carried me through very challenging relationship issues, health changes, and life heart breaks. Our time here has not been perfect, but it has been perfectly God! We have been attending for two years in December. My husband serves on the Greeting Team. We have found, that while a large church, there is a small church friendliness and many areas to connect and find your people. We are thankful for Biblical, balanced, and relevant teaching that allows for practical application everyday. Pastor Andy brings spiritual disciplines into our growth experience and I find myself drawing nearer to God through prayer, Bible reading, and giving rather than practicing these behaviors out of obligation. My understanding of and yearning for God is growing as well as my dependency on him through my life’s ups as well as downs. I want to be near him. My contentment and peace are increasing and I find myself wanting to be entertained by stuff less and less. I am so grateful to be serving God through this community. I love Cornerstone Church. Been a member for 28 years. Have watched this church grow and bless this community we live in. A great children’s ministry. Support groups. The worship team is amazing. 👩🚒🚒😎😆
