We visited Faith Baptist Church a few years ago while visiting family in the area. We were well pleased with the friendliness of the people and with the pastor's message. Amazing! Come and see for yourself what a Church of ACTIVE Faith looks like. The auditorium is full on Sunday morning, Sunday Night , and Wednesday evening . Then there’s an army of dedicated Christians of all ages who go out and spend their Saturdays to go spread the Gospel and invite people to come to Church and become a part of the family of God. And this has been going on every week, month and year for over 40+ years and never a Sunday missed. Come and See As a 87 year old retired military and law enforcement person, I have watched the Utube presentation of "let us pray" as well as many other negatives from a few with ongoing gripes. These web site productions are full of flaws and half truths, and is doing a dishonoring of God's work. Some need to take time to speak to God through his son Jesus and ask for his Holly spirit to give them peace and guidance for HOPE, FAITH, AND LOVE! Watching the young people grow and develop a love of Christ and desires to serve our Lord and Savior is paramount in this church group. Numerous young people grew up here and are now preaching the gospel as adult ministers, as well as working in the mission field. Those who are throwing stones must remember that God tells us to love our brothers and sisters in Christ, not judge them as that is his to do. My prayers are with the church in its ongoing ministries and producing christian leaders for tomorrow. May 31, 2025 I watched as ten Faith Baptist Academy high school seniors graduated from High School in preparation for their future. Many are already committed to ministerial training in Bible School. This is what this church excels at, winning young folks to Christ and mentoring them in their Christian life. Let's think about the future of our young who hold our future in their hands as we await the return of our Lord and Savior. For those who have a problem with recognizing these blessings, may I humbly suggest time on your knees in prayer. May God continue to bless the Pastor and his flock of Christian people who are doing a great job in our community. Amazing church, the people are very welcoming and the teen department is spectacular. I’m very sad to write this, we were extremely excited to try a new church. My only reason for even writing a review is to further educate staff for misleading people. Last week I called, trying to get some info about the church. I explained I had a special needs child and if they are able to accommodate him and his needs. I was told they had a class for special needs kids and they had someone that could be one on one with him. Upon arrival Sunday we were greeted and everyone was extremely kind and welcoming (which I absolutely loved) we were being shown around and we arrive at the classroom for my son. This was a class with neurotypical kids that were seated so nicely, I said to them that this will not work for my son. He can be aggressive, and will not sit still for lesson in that way at all. They insisted we try, so we did. 3 min later they called asking us to remove him because he was hitting (which I tried to warn them) my husband goes to get our son and the teacher had my son ‘pinned’ to the window. Now I’m not saying it was in an aggressive way but it was clearly lack of experience with special needs children. This ruined my child’s day. Just 3-5 minutes of this. His day was in shambles. I’m upset that we were mislead on accommodation rather than being honest. I don’t expect everywhere to have a solution for my son. Which is why I’m trying to find a church that works for us. It was a waste of time. Please work on communicating to parents what to expect and what you can and cannot accommodate. There are many families with disabled and special needs children, so please..either work on communicating to families or consider opening a class room geared to special needs kids/teens/adults too. Sad to say, we will not be back. This review is not based on anything other than our experience. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. I wanted to share in case any other families with high needs children look into this church.
